Google to launch networking site in May.

It is rumoured that Google is to launch its own social networking site, possibly to be called 'Circles', according to technology blog 'The Next Web'.

Google are holding its annual I/0 Developers event on May 9th at the Mission Bay Conference Center, San Fransisco, where last year, they launched Google TV.

When asked for comment, a Google spokesperson stated, " We do not comment on rumour and speculation.”
